“Every weekday from noon to 3:00 pm, listeners of “The Light” radio station can hear the voice of Anita “Boss Lady” Dean Arnette come through their speakers. During this time Arnette tells stories, creates conversation with callers, and worships in music with them. However, becoming a part of the “The Light” radio station family was a career she didn’t plan on having.”
Our very own Anita has been featured in February’s edition of Forsyth Woman. At the beginning of the new year she was interviewed by the magazine. Boss Lady tells the story of her journey thus far in radio as well as her heart for what she does. To read the full story stop by the station to pick a copy or click here to find a location near you that carries Forsyth Woman Magazine.
Our annual Light Toy Drive ended with a smash! Over 200 children were able to receive Christmas gifts this year.
At the end of November we asked for those that would like to help and support our children to bring in new unwrapped toys by the radio station. For three weeks our office was flooded with dolls, games, and gear including 53 donated bikes! We received so many letters from families in our community in need of assistance. Through our Light family we were able to reach so many this Christmas season and show the love of Christ. Thank YOU for taking action, for being apart of our Light community!
